ONLY LOVE

I have died countless deaths
been reborn numberless times
with one purpose only
to be what I am
to express my being
and that being is love.

I have travelled through
numerous universes
repeated lessons
only to drop off the unreal
only to abide in truth, simplicity
and love.

I have grieved for the world
cried oceans of tears
shed myriads of forms
only to reveal the light
to remain in the permanence
of love.

I have stripped off the illusion
of duality innumerable times
quit staged plays of the mind
that trick and mislead since
the dawn of man
only to be this -
formless, nameless being
of love.
